Tenerife and Google hand in hand interconnecting Europe and Africa through the Canary Islands

The Cabildo de Tenerife and Google sign a memorandum that will reinforce the connectivity between the Canary Islands, Europe and Africa. The submarine cable that Google will deploy between Lisbon and South Africa will arrive in Tenerife, increasing connectivity and lowering costs for companies, which will facilitate the development of products and services.

The new NGI radio telescope in Gran Canaria continues going forward

The radio telescope that will analyse the movements of the earth's crust, will be installed in the municipality of Artenara and must be completed before the end of 2019. To this day there is still everything to do so the next months will be of intense work.

IPAC 2019



INEUSTAR has participated at IPAC 2019 between March 19 and 24th, Melbourne (Australia).

IPAC is the greatest international event for accelerators worldwide, with research facilities and industry as participants. 

Spanish Science Industry has been represented in the joint stand INEUSTAR / INDUCIENCIA / ICEX.

IAC and ESA sign an agreement that will make Tenerife the main European centre for space communications by laser

iac logoWith the signing of this agreement ESA will use the Teide Observatory as an "anchor" station for the development of terminals for optical links with satellites and the study of space debris. Likewise, the IAC will continue with its developments in the field of optical communications in space.
