The University of La Laguna invests more than 10 million euros in research projects

Programs such as María Rosa Alonso (Social Sciences and Humanities), Viera and Clavijo (Postdoctoral Researchers), Agustín de Betancourt (knowledge transfer) and predoctoral contracts for the thesis are aimed to attract research talent. The number of scientific publications already exceeds 1,200 per year. On the other hand, the scientific equipment of the university has also been renewed and includes 26 services of high excellence and quality as well as more than 120 applications of interest for different productive sectors.

The innovation development program in Fuerteventura presented at ESA

The Geo Innovation Program 2030 has been presented at the HAPS4ESA event of the European Space Agency with the intention of making known what will be a new pole of innovation in the Canary Islands. This instrument seeks the attraction of innovative companies to generate wealth, added value and stable employment.

III MACbioIDi International Workshop concludes

The III MACbioIDi International Workshop that has taken place this week in Gran Canaria ends.
With the aim of promoting international cooperation, technology development and knowledge transfer in the field of health, the meeting have involved eleven directors of hospitals and members of the universities of Senegal, Mauritania, Cape Verde and Canada incluiding professionals of medicine and engineering.
Among other topics, the latest advances in medical imaging technology have been discussed, as well as the implementation of free software medical technology for use in medical centers.
